Policy The Woodlands Hotel

1. Check in Between 16:00 and 19:00 – Check out by 10:30am.

2. Children of all ages are welcome.

3. Pets are allowed at a charge of GBP 20.00 per stay, per pet.

4. There is no smoking permitted anywhere within the property.

5. Parking for all guests is available on site and is free of charge.

Payment Conditions

A deposit 20% of the stay is required. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions. Full booking balance is due on the day of arrival. Payments by cash, bacs, and the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

Balance payment can be done on check in, if not paid prior to arrival.

Cancellation Conditions

If a booking is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
If a booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 20% of the stay will be made.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

Policy

  1. Check in from 16:00 – Check out by 10:00am.

  3. Pets are allowed at a charge of £25.00 per stay per pet.
  4. Dogs to be always on leads when in the grounds.
  5. There is no smoking permitted anywhere within the property or grounds.
  6. Parking for two cars are available on site, strictly on the spots outside the cottage.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you make a booking more than 8 weeks before the holiday date you will be required to pay a deposit of one third of the total cost when making the booking. The balance will be due no later than 8 weeks before the holiday is due to start.

If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking.

We strongly advise guests to take out holiday insurance.

We reserve the right to cancel your holiday and re-let any holiday where any payment due more than 7 days’ is late. In these circumstances you will not be entitled to any refund.

Deposits are non-refundable unless the property becomes unavailable for the time of the holiday.

 

  • 21 or less days’ notice – No refund due
  • 22-35 days’ notice – 75% of the total accommodation cost
  • 36-49 days’ notice – 60% of the total accommodation cost
  • 50-56 days’ notice – 50% of the total accommodation cost
  • More than 56 days’ notice – your liability to pay the balance will be waived, however, the Deposit will not be refunded. If the holiday was paid in full and more than 56 days’ notice is provided, then 2/3rds of the total accommodation cost will be refunded.

In all cases of client cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the property in order to minimise your loss (we will make an admin charge to cover our costs of re-letting). We reiterate that we strongly advise that you have travel insurance in place to cover cancellation.
